Re-introducing the Mother's Patrol

INTRODUCTION - My name is Laura L Robinson, COR for Troop 451 located in Mesa Arizona. I have taken on a new responsibility within our Troop. It's a patrol that has been around for quite sometime with our Troop, but has gone by the wayside in most recent years.

PURPOSE - The purpose of the Mother's Patrol is to be of assistance to the Senior Patrol Leader in letting parents know what is currently going on with the Troop and to answer any questions or concerns a parent might have regarding their child and the scouting program within our Troop. I may and probably do not have these answers myself, but I am determined to find them for you!

EXPERIENCE - When I signed on for COR with the Troop, my son was a cub scout. I believe he was a Wolf to be exact, he is now a Webelo's II and is preparing for Crossover on March 22. So - this is my 4th year of helping with the Troop. Wow - I cannot believe it has been that long! Since he is crossing over along with some of his other peers, I thought I could help out by sharing the information I receive, with the other new members as well as our current members. So, I am still pretty new to the "Mother's Patrol"

TEAM MEMBERS - The success of our troop relies on volunteers and thier children and ofcourse - our Charter, Grace United Methodist Church. There are many parents you will see in our Troop constantly helping and volunteering. This really is a group effort and as the old saying goes, "Many hands make light work."
